My Lehmann LGB ToyTrain Starter Set ~ G-Scale

In 1968, Wolfgang and Eberhard Richter created something unique; LGB, the world’s first model railroad for indoors and outdoors. Today, LGB still stands alone far above conventional toy trains. LGB is BIG! The letters “LGB” stand for “Lehmann Gross Bahn” or “Lehmann’s Big Train”. LGB trains are G-scale – four times larger than conventional HO-scale trains. LGB trains are easy to put on the track, even for kids. Details on LGB trains are big enough to see and strong enough to withstand frequent handling. But you can fit a full circle of LGB track in space less than 1.3 metres wide. I purchased this LGB Toy Train Starter Set for my young son three years ago. It sat in my garage, hidden until his 7th Birthday. I had my father make a suitably sized table on which to hold the large track area and made room in the garage for the set. Unfortunately, my young bloke seemed more keen on other electronic devices, so this gorgeous G-scale set sat virtually unused for 6 months. I packed the system away in the original box (which is still in mint condition) and stored it away again for the future. After another 12 months, I feel it is time to let some other enthusiast enjoy this “world best” G-scale, all weather train set. If you want a heap more pics, please email me for a link to my photo site. Enjoy!!
